THOUGHTS

Can happiness be a value? To me it’s a clear yes and one which is more important than we think. One could argue that it’s a privilege to be happy however, I believe it is a mindset. Happiness does not depend on anything but instead reflects our approach to the things around us. It is appreciating the small, thinking positive, connecting to others, being open, being kind to myself and to others and much more. While it usually rather describes a status, it is much more the result of lots of small, individual actions. A set of small, healthy actions which are not only contributing to my wellbeing but also of others, not compromising their happiness.

Happiness is furthermore contagious. Remember the last time you saw someone being happy and smiling their brightest smile? You cannot not smile back in these moments. Hence let’s cultivate our happiness and spread it to the people around us.
