Overall, the main question is, which relation is in balance. Is it my relationship with another person, is it work versus life, exercise versus rest? Balance can be found in anything but may need work to archive – conversations, a change of habits, mindsets and more. The good thing is: Balance has a spill-over effect. The first time when consciously assessing the balance of a relation, it might feel weird or uncomfortable. However, by time, it gets easier to understand the dynamics and recognise the levers in other areas.

On an individual level, balance will always go back onto the energy we have. How much energy am I spending versus how much energy am I getting? Am I net-positive as in do I gain more energy than I get? If something is draining more energy than it should, we might want to rethink our approach to it and shape it in a way that it gives us energy. If you feel a major drain of energy, go look for activities which fuel you and reestablish your balance.

The state of equilibrium enables us to go beyond, to see clear and to get in a nourishing flow.
